המחלקה פועלת על מנת לפתח וליישם פעילויות חינוכיות המקדמות שוויון, הכרה הדדית, שיתוף פעולה ומרכיבים נוספים הנחוצים לפיתוחה של חברה משותפת.בתכניות השונות הלמידה מתבצעת במשותף בין תלמידים מבתי ספר יהודים וערבים. בין התכניות שמפעילה המחלקה: 'תכנית לב' - לומדים ביחד, 'יאמ"י' - תלמידים מלמדים תלמידים, 'מרחב משותף', 'בונים חברה משותפת'.
הגלריה לשלום יוזמת ומציגה תערוכות אמנות עכשווית בעלות תפיסה חברתית משותפת של אמנים מכל החברות ובעיקר מן החברה היהודית והערבית. "המשותף"-הגלריה בוחנת, אמנות במונחים משותפים, כלים שיתופיים בעבר וכיום. הגלריה מעודדת פרויקטים של יצירה חדשה הכוללת תהליכי עבודה משמעותיים, עידוד אמנים ויוצרים צעירים וקידום המרקם הרב תחומי באמנות. בגלריה ניתן לבקר בתערוכות ללא תשלום, לקבל סיור מודרך או סדנה פעילה עלך התערוכה המציגה בתשלום.
מרכז מעברים כרמל מנשה הינו מרכז תעסוקה, יזמות ופיתוח כלכלי קהילתי הפועל בחסות השרות לעבודה קהילתית במשרד הרווחה ובשותפות של שתי המועצות האזוריות - מנשה וחוף הכרמל. תחומי הליבה של המרכז מתמקדים בליווי ובסיוע מקצועי ועדכני לכלל תושבי שתי המועצות ברמה הפרטנית בכל הקשור לקידום פרנסתם והשתלבותם בשוק העבודה החופשי הן כשכירים והן כיזמים ובעלי עסקים המבקשים להצמיח רעיון עסקי או לפתח עסק קיים.
חיבור בין הנשים לאדמה, שימור התרבות המסורתית. מגדילים ירקות בצורה אורגנית, סדנאות איך מכינים מאכלים מסורתיים, חלבה סוגי גבינות כל שלישי אחה"צ מארבע עד 7:00. בבית ספר החקלאי, ניתן לתיאום אחה"צ, או בבוקר. כ 30 נשים כבר שלוש שנים , עושות פעילות שונות ומוכרות מוצרים
כפר נוער הכולל חטיבת ביניים, תיכון ופנימייה. סינדיאנה הינו פרויקט ייחודי וראשוני מסוגו, פרי יוזמה של האגודה לקידום החינוך ירושלים וקבוצת יזמים חברתיים ואנשי חינוך מהציבור הערבי בשיתוף עם גבעת חביבה והמועצה האזורית מנשה.סינדיאנה עתיד להוות מסגרת חינוכית ערכית משמעותית, שתכשיר ותפתח שכבת מנהיגים צעירים, חברתיים ומשפיעים.
תכנית המכשירה נשים המעוניינות להתמודד למשרה ציבורית. 10 נשים יהודיות ו- 10 נשים ערביות המתכננות להתמודד בסיבוב הבא של הבחירות לרשויות המקומיות ישתתפו בסדרה מעמיקה של הרצאות וסדנאות שנועדו להעניק להן את הידע וכישורים הדרושים. מיזם של היחידה לשינוי ושיוויון מגדרי - גבעת חביבה.
במסגרת התכנית "שותפות בין קהילות ערביות ויהודיות" של גבעת חביבה מתקיימים קורסי הכשרת מגשרים לטובת בניית רשת של סוכני שינוי, אשר יעברו הכשרה משמעותית בגישור, סולחה, טכניקות נוספות לדיאלוג ויישוב סכסוכים ומנהיגות, ויישמו את המקצועיות שירכשו – בליווי ותמיכה מקצועית רציפה של גבעת חביבה – במרחבי החיים השונים של הקהילות החברות בתכנית השותפויות בשלושה מעגלים: פנים-קהילתי, בין צמד קהילות שותפות, וברמה האזורית.
סדנה בת עשרה מפגשים המשותפת לנשים יהודיות וערביות הנפגשות לבישול וסעודה משותפת ותוך כדי כך מכירות מקרוב. מיזם של היחידה לשינוי ושיוויון מגדרי - גבעת חביבה.
קידום שינוי ויצירת הזדמנות חברתית שווה עבור אנשים המתמודדים עם מגבלה נפשית, ופעילות לקידומם ושילובם התעסוקתי והחברתי בקהילה דרך מיזמים תעסוקתיים שונים:מפעלים משלבים, ערכותי, קפה טוב, סיפור חוזר, כוורת, כלב טוב, דנדשה ודרך פעילויות חברתיות.
המרכז הגדול והמוביל בישראל למען השכנת שלום והתפייסות בין הישראלים לפלסטינאים ולמען עידוד ההבנה בין יהודים לערבים בישראל. המרכז פועל מאז 1963 במטרה לקרב בין היהודים לערבים בישראל ולחנך להיכרות ולשותפות בין שני העמים. בצוות המרכז עובדים ערבים ויהודים זה לצד זה והוא משרת ציבור של אלפי תלמידים, מורים, פעילי ציבור, מובילים חברתיים ואחרים, המשתתפים מדי שנה בתכניותיו השונות.
