לסייע לציבור העיוורים וכבדי הראיה לשפר את איכות חייהם, תוך ליווי האדם ומשפחתו לכל אורך מעגל חייו, בתחומים הקשורים ליקוי הראיה.
האגודה רואה לעצמה כיעד עיקרי להעניק מגוון שרותים משלימים לציבור לקויי הראיה, אשר לא ניתנים על ידי המוסדות הרשמיים, בעיקר בתחומי חברה ורווחה.
יעד משני הוא לשמש כתובת לקבלת מידע על זכויות ושירותים לאדם לקוי ראיה, הפניה לשירותים אחרים בקהילה והסברה באזור פעילותה.
